Engineering Sales Manager – NDT & SHM Products

We are looking for a Sales Engineer to lead direct sales and distributor relationships, and forecasting sales across India, Middle East, Asia and Europe.

Key responsibilities:
* Sales Management : Drive sales efforts to introduce our NDT and SHM products to the market, focusing on securing initial sales and establishing a strong industry presence.
* Product Demonstrations: Conduct engaging demonstrations of our products to potential clients, effectively communicating technical advantages and value propositions.
* Customer Acquisition: Identify, engage, and convert prospective clients into early adopters, laying the foundation for long-term business relationships.
* Proposal Development: Prepare sales proposals, negotiate contracts and ensure customer satisfaction.
* Forecasting: Develop and manage sales forecasts, set targets and report on sales performance in collaboration with Management.
* Sales Channels: Identify, build and manage relationships with distributors and establish sales channels.
* Market Feedback: Gather insights from pilot customers to inform product development and refine our offerings to better meet market needs.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the product development and marketing teams to align sales strategies with overall company objectives.
* Tenders: Identify relevant tenders, understand specifications, track tender deadlines, manage submission schedules, and ensure timely delivery of all documents and participate in tender related processes.
* Representation: Organize webinars, seminars, and presentations to showcase technology benefits and case studies. Represent the company at trade shows and professional conferences.
* Travel: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to meet clients, conduct demonstrations, and attend industry events. Travel expected: 50 to 75%.

Essential qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields). An MBA or equivalent experience in sales/marketing is advantageous.
* Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in technical sales and managing distributors, preferably in NDT, SHM, or related industries. Experience in a startup environment is a plus.
* Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of NDT and SHM technologies, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, deliver persuasive demonstrations.
* Self-Motivation: Proactive and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and navigate the challenges of an early-stage startup environment.
* Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to evolving roles and responsibilities as the company grows.

Preferred Skills:
* Networking: Established connections with the distributors within infrastructure, construction and related industries in India, the Middle East, or Asia.
* Cultural Competence: Experience working across diverse cultural contexts and an understanding of regional business practices.
* Entrepreneurial Mindset: Comfortable with ambiguity and capable of contributing to multiple facets of the business as needed.
* Experience of working on tenders and related documentation

Application Engineer – NDT & SHM Products

We are looking for a hands-on, technically skilled Application Engineer to support our clients and projects from concept to commissioning. The Application Engineer will serve as a technical liaison between our product development teams, clients, and project stakeholders. You’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting SHM and NDT systems tailored for civil infrastructure applications. Ideal for an engineer with a passion for problem-solving, real-world field applications, and customer success.

Key responsibilities:
* Design and configure product requirements for SHM and NDT systems based on customer discovery
* Prepare technical documentation including application notes, installation manuals, and user guides.
* Perform in-house testing of products for calibration followed by pilot studies in the field.
* Work closely with sales, R&D, and project teams to ensure smooth delivery of solutions.
* Conduct on-site system installations, calibrations, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
* Collaborate with clients to define monitoring goals, sensor layouts, and data acquisition strategies.
* Analyze monitoring data to validate system performance and assist clients with interpretation.
* Provide training to clients and internal staff on system use, maintenance, and data interpretation.

Essential qualifications:
* Bachelor or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, preferably with specialization in Structural Engineering.
* 2+ years of experience in SHM, NDT, instrumentation, or structural monitoring projects.
* Familiarity with sensors (e.g., strain gauges, accelerometers, displacement sensors), data loggers, and data acquisition systems.
* Experience working with bridge, tunnel, or building monitoring systems is highly desirable.
* Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., MATLAB, Python, Excel) and visualization tools.
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
* Ability to travel for site visits, installations, and client support.
