This case study highlights how vibration monitoring revealed hidden structural weaknesses in a circular foyer slab of a multi-story institutional building. Persistent vibrations and cracks indicated insufficient slab stiffness and missing beam connections. Targeted carbon-fiber reinforcement improved stiffness, reducing vibrations. The study demonstrates that proactive vibration monitoring can uncover issues early, enabling cost-effective interventions that enhance safety and comfort.
